Drove with a spark plug missing in a 1996 honda civic, now it doesn't start. What is wrong with my car?

About 6 months ago my grandpa took a spark plug out of my 1996 Honda Civic and didn't tell me. I drove about 50 miles and my car just turned off. Now the car wont turn over at all. I need the car to get to school and work. What is wrong with my car and how do I fix it?|||probably too much gas built up and no plug to burn it off. more like it floods itself.|||Flooded the cylinder.
