I've heard Honda's last longer than the alternatives. I'm thinking of buying an older one but wonder if it's worth it. How many miles do you think the average consumer would get out of it?|||first of all, they are right when they say honda's last longer, but that is only if the person takes good care of them and does all the routine maintenance. I have seen honda's last as long as 300,000 miles before. So be sure to check the carfax for the maintenance record.|||ANY vehicle today can get more than 500K miles. The key is proper maintenance.
Use the oil that is spec'd for it and change it on time, also STP is excellent cheap insurance.|||There really isn't a reason is shouldn't last forever. If taken care of you should be able to roll over the odometer back to 000000. Just make sure you do ALL the maintenance required on time.
