What am I missing when putting a new carburetor in my Honda Helix?

There is a pinkish hose coming off the bottom of the Carb, and I can't find where it is supposed to go. This is a 1987 Honda Helix scooter, and my first attempt on working motorcycles of any type.|||It's a drain tube, make sure it points to the ground and isn't kinked.
