What is better about the Honda Civic than a Toyota Corolla?

Both 2010. My parents want to get the Corolla for its safety features, but I love the way a Honda Civic looks. What is good about a Civic?|||Corolla is a safer car? Lmao. My dad got into a accident with a 07 Civic, the car was totally destroyed and my dad came out of the car totally safe. Not even a little scratch. I prefer going American cars though, the more stylish Ford Fiesta is #1 in it's class and beats both cars in safety with 10.0 rating(see link). I would suggest the Fiesta, for every American car bought 4 American jobs are saved. Ford is really on the rise, and they improved their quality a lot. A well taken Ford can last as much as a Honda or Toyota.
