How to go with minor body work for a new Honda?

I own a 06 Honda Accord and was hit by fellow passenger in the parking lot. There was a minor paint damage at the rear bumper. Fellow passenger mentioned that he would pay what ever the amount it takes. I already inquired in Honda showroom and got a quote for minor body work. Is the body work from Honda showroom reliable. Any pointers on how to go about this without affecting car history, carfax, insurance etc? The bad thing is that this is not even my fault





Thanks for your time|||I would take it to a reputable body shop. Doesn't have to be a Honda showroom. Since your friend is offering to pay the damages. It shouldn't affect your insurance or any of the other concerns that you are having.
