Honda!!!!!?

I have a 94 honda that overheats when i am at a standstill (red light, drive thru, etc) but when I drive it cools back down

2. When I am driving, for no reason the RPM gauge goes up and down from 1 to 1.5 rapidly, and you can hear my engine revving up and down.

Please help =( It's my first car and I really dont want it to die lol. Money is no object.|||Check your fans connections and such.

It could be that you have a bad radiator.|||the revving part is the IAC, idle air control. i have a honda myself, its just this little valve, sometimes it gets stuck, its like a hot/cold idle thing, noit sure where its at on your car but on my 86 its on the throttle body up top on the back side by the firewall.

|||I hate when ppl say "ITS YOUR IAC", not necessarily %26amp; its an expensive part to replace due to bad diagnostics... if you have a FITV adjust the screw in there, it acts like a bad iac. 2nd, air pocket in cooling system can cause "idle hunt" as well... good luck man

|||It sounds like your electric fan isn't coming on,and when your setting still there's no air flow , then when you start moving the car gets air to help cool the radiator.by the way i think the reason your car is revving up %26amp; down is be cause the fan is gettingfire but the fan motor is bad and not coming on Have it looked at soon so you don't get the engine to hot and blow a head gasket.|||Sounds like the Cooling Fan is not working, and the TPS may be bad. If money is no object, than just buy a new car.
