How high off the ground does a 1999 honda civic have to be to clear railroad tracks?

I want to trick out a 1999 honda civic ex but the law states that it has to pass over railroad tracks.|||There is no standard, it varies by state. Usually it is between 9"-12". Railroad crossings vary in height from level with the road anywhere up to a 30 and 45 degree angles (nasty for low-riders and semis). Most crossings that are steep or impassable for low riding vehicles have appropriate warning signs (with a picture of a truck being "cut" over the crossing).|||You would need to contact your local police department or transportation department and ask them but from doing state vehicle inspections in my state a vehicle cannot be lower than 12 inches from the ground or it will not pass.
