Are some 5g honda preludes faster than others?

Ive been test driving honda preludes 99-01 and some of them feel faster than others and they are all stock. Like some hit vtec harder than others, what does that mean?|||its all about care. oil is critical with these engines. Keep them clean over time and topped off. And the VTEC operates via oil pressure. Hell if the oil is low the VTEC won't even engage! And if the oil is overfull the car will feel sluggish.
