Is it possible to work on and put aftermarket parts on a honda civic hybrid 1998?

Im looking at a honda civic hybrid with low miles really clean and in great condition. It is a 1998 which makes me think ..did honda even make hybrids back then? So is it possible for it to be a hybrid and if so is puting aftermarket parts on possible?|||A 1998 "Hybrid" no they don't exist, well they do have 1998+ Natural Gas (GX Model) Civic's so I guess depending on how you look at it, it can be a hybrid.


I wouldn't know where to find aftermarket engine parts for the hybrid models but you can visit sites to get exterior/interior parts for you car, you'll just have to select your model as a 1998 LX since the GX is basically the LX model except it runs on CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).
