What kind of fuel does a honda generator use?

Hi, this may be a stupid question but im a city slicker planning on campong and i want to buy a honda generator, What kind of fuel does it use? where do i get it? thanks.|||Kind of depends on the actual generator you are buying. MOST generators will run on regular gasoline. Your owner's manual will tell you the proper type...

Other types of fuels generators can run on: 2:1 stroke engine requires a mixture of oil and gas. Diesel Gasoline, Propane, Natural gas.|||It will use the same gas as your car, oil will be in the bottom of the motor, have some one show you how to check the oil level. and where to put the gas,

then how to start it, keep extra oil %26amp; gas on hand,

also what size are you getting ? it will depend on what your going to power,

a 6,000 watt generator will cover a lot of small stuff, and will run for 5 to 6 hrs on a full tank of gas,

don't for get to take a extension cord, and a plug strip,|||ask the people in the store where you purchase the generator. most generators use regular gasoline, but some bigger ones use diesel.|||The manual will tell you. I'm sure it will say to use regular gasoline. Buy the gas at your favorite filling station.|||regular 87 octane|||regular unleaded...|||it uses electric not fuel
