What should I do to get real good solution for Honda Pilot blew up engine?

I bought a new 08 Honda Pilot and the engine blew up at 3400 miles. Honda wants to just replace the engine and call the car fine. I feel that is not right for the car to lose it's engine that early and more should be done by Honda to offer in such case. Any advice or suggestion is appreciated.|||i would ask for a full warranty instead of losing 3400 miles at least..,|||i would ask for a full warranty instead of losing 3400 miles at least.|||Did you ever find the cause of the engine failure?

You are right that an engine shouldn't fail on you that quick. They have acknowledged the problem and are fixing it. You were very vauge on what happened.

A lot of things could of happened. A problem in the lubrication system ie. bearing failure, cooling system problem causing overheating and warping cylinder heads and block, etc.

I don't know exactly what else you are looking for, care to shed some light? I assume they got you in a loaner or a rental for the time being. As far as the dealership is concerned they are fixing your car. If you are looking for additional (insert what you want here) you need to call American Honda. I've worked for a Honda dealer for a while and I will tell you this they take care of there customers. If you really want something all you have to do is call.
